Dec. 16

bonjour j'mappel elder crandall and this place is crazy its only been a couple of weeks and it has been a roller coaster of emotions the days here feel like weeks but the weeks feel like days. A lot has happened in the past couple of weeks that I thought would never happen so the friday after i got here I had to teach my first investigator in french. Her name was Brenda and that went bad, it was hard. So let me take you guys through a day in the life of a missionary at the MTC so we wake up every morning at 6 a.m. work out for a couple of mins then we get in the shower and get ready for the day. Then go eat breakfast at 7 after that we go to our classroom and study for an hour, then we would have our first teacher come in how turned out to be brenda her name really is soeur(sir) green she's way cool then she teaches us until lunch which is at 1130. But every class that is taught is taught in french only which is way hard but I've been picking up the language pretty fast. I can understand it more than we can speak it which make it kinda difficult but its what ever. Anyways after lunch we go back to class and meet our other teach soeur cook she is cool all my teachers just got back from Tahiti from their missions. But they have been teaching us and now we have two new investigators soeur cook how is pretending to be cecillia and soeur green who is pretending to be taihani anyway after soeur cook is done teaching we have an hour of study time until dinner then after that we go back to class and prepare our lessons and its pretty boring at times. Then we have gym at 8 then we go back to the res and we hold it down we just said good by to a couple of elders on our floor last night is was sad to see them leave, it was just as hard saying bye to them as it was saying bye to you guys. We only knew them a couple of weeks but it was like we had known them our whole life they were so cool. So let me tell you about my zone/ district, theres only 8 of us right now but we are suppose to get 17 more in our zone. But theres me and my colleague elder Ford he's from queen creek az. And then theres elder Paxman from calgory canada eh! And then theres elder loamanu from taylorsville ut haha and we all "hold it down, cuz ya kno we keeps it 100" haha we are the chills elders in the whole mtc in my opinion we all sing like we are in a barber shop cortet haha but we need new songs to sing so if you have any suggestions of songs from the 40's- the 60's that would be great. I would really love to hear from you all and if you want to send me stuff my mailing address is

bonjour toute le monde commet ça va? (hello everyone how is it going) I'm doing good I'm almost done with french which I'm super happy about then next week we start Tahitian and i cant wait. French is super hard but when i get fluent it'll be sick.  Not much has happened this week but we did say goodbye to frere(brother) blosil he was a super cool teacher. Today was a good day, started off by going to the temple then chillin outside the temple. Then we went back to the rez and had a nerf gun war with our whole floor that was way fun. Later tonight we have a devotional to go to then we are done with the day. I cant believe how fast this has been going the first 2 weeks were so slow then the lately they have been flying by which is super nice. Can't wait to hear from you guys, you are the best. I love everyone of you cant wait to hear from you. Just remember I love to get care packages even though I don't get much which I'm just fine without but it just lets me know how much you care so if you want to send me stuff my mailing address is

bonjour quoi des neuf (whats new) hope everyone had a great Christmas mine was for sure different. Christmas morning started off with the usual get up and go to breakfast but this one was a "continental" breakfast and it wasn't that good but when is the food here ever good? Anyways after that we went to the Christmas day devotional and we had an apostle speak it was Richard Nielsen that was pretty cool then later that day our district decided to take and awkward family christmas picture (if i can ever figure out how to upload pictures on here I'll put it up) then we got to call home to our families but only for 30 mins but that was nice while it lasted. Then after that we had a 5 star sack dinner, it was horrible like always but that didn't matter because i was with my Tahitian fam so that was cool. We even drew ourselves a Christmas tree on our board and put a light up ring on top of it to make it more christmasy after that the soeurs in our class gave us a present it was the best present i have ever gotten because it was stuff that they found in there dorms it was cool. Later that night as we went back to our rez there were elders doing some fun activities like this french elder put a pillow in his shirt and put shaving cream on and ran around saying he was papa noel it was so funny then there was sing from the poly's down stairs they have the coolest voices ever I love hearing them sing. Then there was this tahitian elder doing magic and he did this trick where... well i cant explain how he did it but it was the coolest thing ever then later this week on sunday we had David Archuleta and Richard Elliot come speak to us and that was so cool well thats all i can remember that went on if you have any questions for me feel free to ask and also feel free to email me

Man this is crazy so my p day is on Tuesday. But this place is kinda weird. I've had my fare share of ups and downs but if it wasn't for my companion i would be coming home but my zone is so small its me and 7 others and we are the zone and district me and my companion are the zone leaders we are the most chillest zone there is. We all have nicknames I'm elder cran baby crandall then my companion is Elder childish man dingo aka slayer ford he's from queen creek AZ then there Elder pax daddy paxman he's from Canada eh and then there's shoty got lo' amonu aka chocolate cake  from taylorsville ut. I found Chandler Johns but we've only seen each other twice. I taught my first lesson on friday with an investigator, its hard doing it in french then in 6 weeks I have to start over and do it again in tahitian. I've made some really good friends here and I'm excited to know these guys  I'll send pics next week of our whole group
